Fridge Rent & Return Application

Student Residences Fridge Rent and Return is a program that allows residents to rent a mini-fridge for the semester or academic year for their residence room!

These fridges are rented out across our community every semester and returned once the semester or academic year is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost of renting a fridge?,
Fridge rental costs $25 per semester, or $50 per academic year. This rental fee covers the set up and inspection of the fridge.

How do I rent a fridge?
Start the process by filling out your information below. Once we receive your application we will contact you to set up a meeting with the Residence Life Office to go over the fridge rental agreement. Once the rental agreement is signed, our rental fee will be added to your account and you can collect your fridge!

What is in the rental agreement?
The rental agreement is a set of rules and guidelines you will need to sign in order to rent a fridge. This includes information on keeping your fridge clean, making sure its connected to power properly and how to return your fridge at the end of the year.

What happens if I don’t return the fridge?
If you are do not return the fridge at date set in your rental agreement, a charge of $250 will be added to your account. This charge will be used to replace the fridge for the Rent & Return program so future students can benefit.

What happens if I do not clean the fridge before I return it?
If you do not clean your fridge before you return it, a cleaning charge of $50 will be added to your account. This will be used to cover the cost of cleaning the fridge before it can be put back into our rental program. If you return a fridge without cleaning it, you will be unable to rent a fridge for future semesters.

Please note: due to high demand, you might be placed on a waitlist for rentals. The Residence Life Office will contact you when a fridge is available.
